as an aside on the topic of another thread, somebody should tweet uncle barry and suggest he invite the women's world champion to this event as it is a gimmick event and the lottery style format will help the talent deficiency longer formats make pointless

why the orange wigs in the audience ? just for fun or is there significance.

Not 100% why but the people in the audience with them on are members and the owner of Whitley Bay Snooker Centre where Gary Wilson practices, also Gary Wilson put one on before the start of the game as well.

At a guess it was something to do with Gary shaving his hair off
