Could England enter another team from say Jersey or the Isle of Man then ->?

A little bit unfair I think - who's running it Sepp Blatter's Chinese nephew?

I wonder what the criteria for qualifying for this is. Was there a tournament to get these 24?

Seems strange the likes of Iran are there and no Canada for example.

I was thinking that. I was in a tournament in Jersey last week and over the weekend there was 3 tons from the Jersey lads and a 90, couple of 80s, 60s from the Guernsey team. I'm pretty sure that standard would be higher than a few teams there.

We enter the Home Internationals as separate nations.

Obviously places like Qatar and UAE must have more sway with their associations than Jersey and Canada and others.
They can buy snooker and football world cups and still have enough money left to buy Man City PSG and still have change for a nice Ruby Murry on the way home.

I wasn't keen on this format in 2011, but I'll give it a go.

This is my first time seeing this tournament so I am
interested in seeing how it will turn out. Some very
good teams to watch and I want to see the level of
play from some of the lesser known countries.

China is 12 hours ahead of my time so watching some
matches wont be easy so I will watch what I can.

Yep, the Hoffmeister was the dog, Alex and Jimmy, immense! Hmmm, why no Judd? Selby and Bingo, enigmatic. Would love to see Judd team up with Ronnie but Ronnie don't fly anywhere it seems. Why have England only got one team given our domination of the player rankings?

It does seem a bit odd that there's two teams from China, but only one from England. I'm sure it'll be an interesting format nonetheless! Scotland and England seem the best teams (Wales and Aus too maybe.. not seen much of Vinnie mind), anyone got any tips on the lesser teams?
