Indeed, and NB's "warning" is what Alex managed?

Nowadays I have thought it more side than screw, which is how ROS got more action on CB.

It may be on the Eurosport Youtube Channel? It certainly should be as it is almost the definitive "shot" ie it doesn't need any more than "Alex Higinns' Blue". Undoubtedly the best 19(ish), let alone 69 ever seen, imho. Nothing has got close top the buzz watching it live....

Btw White said a mate had been getting Alex large Vodka's all day, so no need to worry - Jimmy said that worried him more

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Bm5UrrUI9w Nic B impressing me tbh, although CB is far from the same, unlike Jimmy who nailed it. "Demonstration of what you need to play one of the most historic snooker shots. Warning - it is not possible to do on a slow club table with an old cloth - or with worn and dirty snooker balls!" is my point re balls and cloth....
Thanks for that. I've seen Robbos one before, modern conditions regarding fast cloth and NB had the cue ball a lot closer and neither of them were bridging over a red like Alex was.

Jammy git Allen, Murphy took that well but inside he must have been seething.
White did on joint 6th plus attempt.

It is an interesting shot to see Pro's attempt due to the balls weight and thicker cloth ie ROS got the CB the other side of the black off the side cushion, and Robertson did it in a match (when well beaten ie no pressure) but the CB didn't arc.

    I'll dig out links....

Yeah he said he had a couple during the interval with the Wells match.

Did I hear him correct when he said his stepson, aged 13, had just had a 147 in 5m 04s?

I didn't hear Mark Allen say that, do you have a link? I did hear Ronnie and Jimmy saying he should probably have a beer or 2 in the mid-session to keep himself feeling good, but I'm almost entirely certain they were taking the P. Simple bantz. He had a few beers through the week and won the tournament, big deal. Alex would probably have drank the same amount he had all week before the mid session interval, pissed in a plant pot and still won the tournament.

Sounds like a good reason to get drunk.

    ?what is all the fuss?
From what I know, after the Quarterfinals he had a few drinks, and not much sleep; so he nearly lost the semi-final.
As he said in interview he did not give the semi-final the respect it deserved and had a night-out.
    Lesson learnt
