    May I know what injury is Higgins suffering from? He wasn’t comfortable stretching for a red near the black spot off the side cushion.

    I must be all snookered out from the UK Championship. Just switched this on and could muster no enthusiasm whatsoever. I might check on the occasional match and probably watch the final, but I think I'm feeling like a lot of the top players are - in other words can't be bothered.

    Not strictly correct, he splits his time pretty much 50/50 between China and UK....hrs been back I. Sheffield for the last couple of months, I've seen him a few times at (the new) star academy in Sheffield(Steelers bar).

    What is happening to Anthony McGill , cut his hair and lost all his powers .

    From what I have seen , thought he would push on up the rankings .
