I've no clue how I ended up liking him actually, it just came naturally. I simply like to watch him, how he behaves around a table, how he plays. and I think he's still up for something great. one day. I know it. go ryan.

Ever since watching Day live at the Masters I am a converted Ryan Day fan. He does bottle the big occassions (2004 WC 1st round, 2006 WC 2nd round, 2007 Shanghai Final) but he comes accross as top bloke in the videos and interviews I have seen. A stupid thing I know but if I could swap with any player and have a go from their position it would be Ryan's.

I'd so love to see a selby-day final.
and I'm pretty happy that both guys' matches are broadcasted tomorrow. so I'll now leave to bed to be wide awake tomorrow morning when it's snookertime

I like how everyone is saying the bottom half of WC draw is the easiest despite having Selby, Maguire, Murphy in it. Its time to go on form and not names.

My lucky dip man Day is through and Selby looks the man of the season. Is it going to be his 3rd tournament win in 2008!

don't mind a season revolving around selby, the rest is arguable though ^^
we'll see how the season ends, I'm quite curious for the crucible already, eventhough I'll totally miss the first round due to being on holidays with mum and friends who will certainly kill me if they find me only CLOSE to a tv or pc during that time

A few minutes ago I was the only one here, must be unique.

And the season really revolves around Murphy, Selby and Maguire is it not?

will come join you in Germany for it tomorrow (hope that doesn't mean missing too much coverage... need to convince brothers!)

fabulous hopefully they finally set him on a tv table so I can actually SEE some of the things going on. live tickers kill me since you have no clue what the table looks like and aaaaaaaargh. better than nothing though.

luckily a friend of mine kept me posted about the results.
higgins vs selby tomorrow... could be nail biting, especially cause I like both lots. but admittedly, I do favour dracula... uhm, selby I mean.

good to see Murphy win when not playing well. hes far from my favourite player but he is very very good, and still does well most times hes not firing on all cylinders

I'm not sure you can speak of a "lucky win" there... for sure he was lucky with the position the brown ended up in, but a match that goes through a decider can hardly be a lucky win.
and in the end, luck contributes a little to every won match.
