There's plenty of empty seats for the Robertson/Cope match. Aren't the kids off school this week? I thought the crowd would be bigger.

I wouldnt bet on mcmanus at the moment- although theres no tougher battler out there he seems to be going through a very bad patch at the moment. Dale seems to be in and out of form.

I think Mcmanus needs a win here more than Dale - although being Welsh Dale will want to do well in his home tournament -so its very tough to call this one...

To make up for it Robertson and Cope should be very quick though.

Swail and Trump probably wont hang around too much though I guess it depends on how well Swail is playing. Trump will probably just go for everything. This is the match i would most like to see, but the one least likeley to be broadcast..
    hope McManus will win today

not sure about Swail, he wasn't playing too well in Malta, at least that was my impression. if Trump wins, I'm sure his next match will be televised (same goes for Swail though)

Absolutely-agree with all you say! It is good to see someone play the game and visibly enjoy it. He gave Mark Allen a very tough match in the UK qualifying final round losing 9-8, but it could have gone either way.

He just seems like a genuine person who doesn't have an ego. He also plays with a smile on his face and loves playing snooker. Granted I have never met the bloke but he always comes across as flabagasted that he is in the same room as Hendry, O'Sullivan etc. How anyone cannot like him is beyond me.

He has a decent chance of reaching the quarter finals too. Stephen Lee next then either Graeme Dott or Michael Judge. He is a legend and a cult hero.
