They're both on 20 odd points with all the reds gone. This could be an edgy affair. Watching Holt is essential viewing because of his temperament. You just don't know what he's going to do next or what face he's going to pull next

    Quite a low scoring frame...

Lol, not often you see Hendry do a face like he did when going through the pack of reds and missing them all by a fraction.

    5-3 to Lee

After initial disappointment in this tournament - things are looking up for me - well it's still early days I suppose.

Trouble is he doesn't have a coach and to my knowledge never has had one. Derek looks after him and tries to tell him if he's doing something wrong but he isn't qualified and to be honest if Judd wants to make it in the game he has got to work with someone to develop his game.

He is basically the same raw player he was at 15 and hasn't really improved his game much. He probably scores more consistantly now but shot selection and safety as well as composure is no better than some club players.

Holt looks twitchy already. Reminds me of Alex Higgins when he was constantly nervous

Our commentators, jokingly or not, start mentioning maxis after the 4th red-black, especially if staying on the black is the more difficult option. I do get your drift but Ronnie's intentions were so clear on that one...
Let me rephrase that, then: %$$#%#$%# about not winning the frame in one visit.

Thought Trump looked pretty poor in the first half of the match. The interval seemed to settle him but he still needs to improve on all aspects of his game. I think he needs to slow down a bit, work on his cue action and cueball control and he might start to get results. Reminds me a bit of Selby when he first started out, he was quick and attacking before realising that this kind of game doesn't get results, unless you are O'Sullivan/Hendry class of breakbuilding.

Other than that, compelling match. Young Trump is courageous and has a great long game, shame about the positional side of it.
It wasn't a walk in the park for Ronnie, far from it. Phew, first round is always the hardest!
    Aaaand century No. 512.

It's friggin' difficult to watch snooker without them fags, take my word for it!
