Just came home and according to the live ticker Murphy and McCulloch are in their first frame
Couldn't the have some matches in the morning to avoid these late starts?

    .
agree with that hege. he dug deep when the match wasnt going his way and marcus was playing well

his win completes a treble bet i put on at the bookmakers today (the first snooker bet win out the last 4), so at least he won me money, though as it wasnt a big bet id have liked to see a fellow Scot go through.

Murphy and McCulloch's match is two hours late. Could be a late night if the match gets a bit scrappy and defensive.

Thanks Hegeland. That sounds more like it.

This must be more bad bbc research ? Surely he beat Ronnie in round 1 in malta a couple of years ago, and must have had other last 16 appearances at least ?

Oops, I didn't realise there was a separate thread about the interview. I should have looked first!

Ronnie didn't take part in the Malta Cup so he has nothing to worry about.

I watched the O'Sullivan/Trump match on BBC Two Wales, and after the match they interviewed Ronnie. He didn't seem to be in the best of moods. The presenter asked him about the running he does and Ronnie said he didn't want to talk about it. Just after that, Dominic Dale started talking while O'Sullivan was, and Ronnie looked aggrieved and said "Don't Dom", as though to say 'Don't ever interupt me while I'm talking!'. I think it was because Ronnie was annoyed with what Jan Verhaas said to him, when he conceeded a frame he could still win.

Ali carter makes it through in what seems like a hard fought match, the way the scoring went anyway, ignoring the overall scoreline.

ding trails 2-3. Marcus at the table in frame 6
