    Great entrances for both players. King did a shortened version of his Masters dance and Davis received a rousing reception and the first standing ovation that I can remember before a match has actually begun at the Crucible. The play itself has proved less dramatic but I'm still glued to it.

    I hope Steve Davis gets off to a good start here. I don't really like King, and both players will fancy there chances against there opposition, so loads of attacking shots will be made.
