I watched Chris Melling win his match. He was shaking like a leaf in the first couple of games! Fair play to him getting the result.

Matthew Stevens didn't seem to be having a good time of it. He had quite a few thunderous kicks and a pink to the top pocket rolled off. They had the table fitters in at the mid-session interval but they couldn't find a problem.

Matthew Stevens had his friend in the audience for the first few frames and he was not exactly discreet in his opinions. He disappeared shortly after the interval and suddenly Stevens started playing better. Perhaps that was a coincidence?

Robertson looked all business with breaks of 52, 80, 72, 83 and
        the high break of 137.
Looking forward to watching Ding later today.

Yeah I went down to Gloucester yesterday and watched that match live. He's awesome Robertson is. Lovely cue action and lovely touch in the balls. A joy to watch.

Ding is 2 - 0 down to Oliver Brown. Interesting...

3 - 0 now and Oliver is playing very well indeed, could be in for a shock result here...

looks like ding is going out of the wuxi classic to an amateur!? that wont be popular in china! how can you win 5 ranking titles in a season and be so inconsistent?

more like Ding's little F U to the WPBSA for the the fine on him. Like a good luck with pulling in the crowd in China without me.

Martin Gould is playing well. Got 4 frames on the bounce.

An easy win for Martin Gould. Adam Duffy didn't give him much of a challenge.
