He had been drinking heavily for him birthday and was about to p*** and vomit so had to dash off and due the hangover things before returning.

Maureen (jimmy's former wife) phoned him on his birthday and he was nowhere to be traced. harvey Lisberg who was his PR man at the time received the phone calls and finally convinced Jimmy to phone his wife which he did during that particular semi final!
