    That's a tougher one.

    Okay! I had about 20 names that it could have been, by looking at the players that had appeared at the Crucible only once, then removing debutants after 1990.

    ROUND 369.

    Following on from circles question I also noticed something about the players that have only had a single visit to the crucible.... Up to 2009 there were 59 players that had made just one appearance. So, the question for you all is.... what do 56 of these 59 players have in common?!

    He turned pro before snooker went open in 1991. He made his crucible debut against a top 16er who played in the same club as him!

    He also had his own snooker club, that was named after him
