Went through this whole thread on Saturday and thorough enjoyed it and your progress with cue making. Hope you keep your hand in mate, good luck with the new career.

Been quite a few months since I've been able to post on here. Due to a change of jobs and change of location I haven't been able to do any cue work. I started getting withdrawal symptoms so last month I continued splicing a cue I started almost a year ago. The basic splicing is there just needs a lot of sanding now. Having to work from a B&D workmate now Red mallee on thuya burl on rosewood (with a few veneers)

The rough sanding is now out the way, put wipe of oil over to show the expected colour once all is finished.
