I know Mr Butters has started making laminated cues, and imagine he's moved on to one of those as his personal cue. Lucky for me. I'm incredibly lucky to have got this one. I will always favour ash-ebony cues. The addition of Rosewood is acceptable.

    Pictures to follow next week.
Is it the one that was on ebay earlier on today ?

        • Yes, I think that's the one. I've had a number off him and was going to have one of the hidden joint ones from earlier in the week, because he didn't expect a one piece for a while. He kindly agreed to let.me have one because of my buying history with him, and because its exactly what I was looking for (ish)..

Thanks. I hope this will be my cue for bit, maybe longer. Mr Butters clearly makes cues to suit me. I have five already, and they all play better (for me) than any others...and they all have similar grouped specs and playability. I don't expect to be letting any of them go.

                            • Flamed Maple shaft cue arrived yesterday. Had a hit last night with it, and it's as smooth as a smooth thing. Nice hit, too.

                              It's 57", 31mm butt, 9.2mm tip, 16oz, balanced at 17"
