How many hours a week should I practice?

The only mate i've ever had really into snooker was at uni... And now i've left i'm back trying to convince people to play

I see people saying they got no one to play with quite regular on here...

Might be a good idea to have a regional section or something similar where we could maybe try to get a few players together, in different areas for a few frames on a weekly basis, like a little tsf snooker league going on.......

Well according to google maps it's 173 miles from me and a 3 hour and 2 min drive.

Hmm some clever person needs to invent transporters or some other sci fi way of fast travel.

Luckily for me my lodger loves snooker and so do most of the pool team i play for, still never get in as many games / hours as i'd like.

i would feel daft if i go in on my own and play. The place where i mainly go is £2 an hour and theres only 2 tables you can play on and a pool table. Normally they are full and theres someone there i know, so i just play with them and never get to play on my own. I just never get the chance to play on my own The only other option is one which is further away, much further, and has alot of tables and theres hardly anyone in, the trouble is, its a fiver an hour

I see people in there alot locals what you would call them but I don't have the guts to go up to them and go ''oh fancy a game'' so I'm always by myself!

id rather be by myself for a few hours for once!But theres never any spare tables, and like i said, if i go to the other place it would cost me like £20 for 4 hours, where as my local place would be like £8

If you can find somebody else who also wants to practice you could buy an extra cue ball and practice at opposite ends of the table? At least then nobody could complain you were hogging a table to yourself.
