It's only this season that the carrot was dangled of a £100k bonus and clearly a few players were chasing that. For Selby to come second with 73 I think is proof that. Selby is not a player you'd normally have down for being a prolific scorer.

Personally I think it's a decent prize but should be worth more than the carrot that was offered for the two 147s is the triple crown events.
You mean the Mark Selby who broke the record for centuries in a season for two seasons in a row when there was far fewer events?

Indeed. Fingers crossed for a tight finish to this one.

Wonderful moment with Judd's century of centuries. He was loving it and so was the audience. Onwards to 104 I would think...

Given he's already achieved this once before, I find it a bit baffling why he's putting himself under so much stress.

Good performance by Judd. Reminded me a bit of the second session of the final against John Higgins in 2019, close and tense until the 9th frame and then Trump turned it on. Hopefully he can sustain this quality.

He's come out after the interval and reset and that's the best two frames he's played in the tournament.

People don't really say it but he's by far the best breakbuilder the game has ever seen. Sure, Ronnie is probably more artistic in the way he does it, but Trump powers them in and his numbers prove he's the best.

Fantastic stuff and Shaun is a class act for showing his appreciation. What a buzz for the crowd.

Cheers Dean, seems guaranteed if he beats Shaun so hopefully he can put that out of his mind and close out the match. That will be some payday if he wins the tournament.
