  • If tomorrow night goes as we all expect it to with Ronnie and Luca winning 13-4, it's going to be a bit **** for the spectators who have tickets for that match. Hopefully Ding can up his game and mount a rear guard action as the chances of Pang doing it are in line with the chances of me winning a world championship.

    • Epic frame! Oh well...onwards. Interesting to see if Trump can find 2 more centuries. Hoping for a close match either way.

      • This century chase is possibly going to prevent him winning this match. Clearly now he's struggling and his focus is not on the match but on the prize for 100 tons. He really needs to shut it out of his thinking, for a man who's earned over a million in prize money this year and is fairly well off, he's treating this £100k bonus like it's more important than the WC itself. Given he's already achieved this once before, I find it a bit baffling why he's putting himself under so much stress.

        • Does Judd need two centuries in the match against Shaun to win the 100k prize or just two more centuries in the whole tournament?

It is a prize for 100 centuries in the season, so the rest of this event

Cheers Dean, seems guaranteed if he beats Shaun so hopefully he can put that out of his mind and close out the match. That will be some payday if he wins the tournament.

                • Fantastic stuff and Shaun is a class act for showing his appreciation. What a buzz for the crowd.

                  • He's come out after the interval and reset and that's the best two frames he's played in the tournament.

People don't really say it but he's by far the best breakbuilder the game has ever seen. Sure, Ronnie is probably more artistic in the way he does it, but Trump powers them in and his numbers prove he's the best.

Judd's bubbling up nicely now. Assuming he goes through, we could be in for some fireworks with him and Luca. But it's not unheard of to come back from 10 - 6 is it.

                      The fast and the furious,
                      The slow and labourious,
All of us, glorious parts of the whole!

                      • Good performance by Judd. Reminded me a bit of the second session of the final against John Higgins in 2019, close and tense until the 9th frame and then Trump turned it on. Hopefully he can sustain this quality.

Chasing the history books rather than the money I think. He's the first man to achieve it twice.

Not sure about that. After Neil and Judd previously achieved the ton of tons, Neil did it over 10 years ago and it was 5 years since Judd last did it.

It's only this season that the carrot was dangled of a £100k bonus and clearly a few players were chasing that. For Selby to come second with 73 I think is proof that. Selby is not a player you'd normally have down for being a prolific scorer.

Personally I think it's a decent prize but should be worth more than the carrot that was offered for the two 147s is the triple crown events.

Indeed. Fingers crossed for a tight finish to this one.

Wonderful moment with Judd's century of centuries. He was loving it and so was the audience. Onwards to 104 I would think...
