Thats not the official world rankings though, thats just the one-year list which is used to calculate other things (like entry into certain events, amateurs have always been included on this). As far as I'm aware, his official world ranking will start from the bottom next season just like everyone else on a new 2 year card

Didn't see any info as to why Zhao was given a top 64 place yesterday, normally would have been on a two year card starting from next season.

If the Shanghai Masters is in July again its only an invitational anyway, they simply could have placed him in the first round.

I would have backed Eubank jnr but the price was too short, it was a great fight but a poor boxing match, Eubank looks cooked now and Benn is bang average

Can't believe some of the balls I've seen potted today. Those two reds near the cushion from distance Williams potted in the decider, unbelievable, OK the pockets do seem generous, but even so.

I had a feeling that Brecel's style would unsettle Trump and so it's proven. Similar to the session he had against Ding, he can humiliate his opponent and he also has this ability to rub it in too. Hard for Trump to turn this around, once Brecel gets on a roll.

Probably a Brecel Vs Ronnie final on the cards.

Think Williams deserved to win. Higgins made too many mistakes in the frames before the interval. Great match. Williams has the guile to beat Trump.
