Did Robertson not have pockets today, noticed he put the chalk on the table!

Good question. I dont know if he has pockets but
he does sometimes carry the chalk around.
Nice to see Doherty take the decider vs Dott.

Hopefully some good matches coming up.

Dott defeat on 1st round was the most shocking result so far.

Plenty of surprises as Allen, Hawkins, Dott, Dale,
Ebdon and Doherty are all out.
A few big names also had a tough win so anything
            is possible.
            Tomorrow brings some great snooker.

              Ruhr Open (ET4) Nov 19 - 23

just saw Matthew Stevens using a £20 note to burnish his tip and ferrule
does this mean he has stopped using that emery cloth between every frame?
at least the note won't wear down the ferrule like he used to

Trump, Higgins and Perry win their 1st match
however Jimmy White lost his. Williams vs Ford
is TV table for World Snooker and its 2-1 Ford.
                Hopefully Williams can win this.

question for the stato's out there,
how many other matches (if any) have there been - anywhere - with no points scored by the loser in a match?
                  what a performance from Fu

Williams made it thru a tough series with
Ford who played better than I have seen
him play in some time. Fu demolished Higgins
4-0 and Higgins didnt pot a ball I believe. Fu
was calm and smooth while Higgins looked like
                    he just woke up.
                    More good matches coming up.

There was a match last season where Robertson won 4-0 with four centuries, and Ahmed Saif didn't score a point.

Stephen Hendry beat Matthew Stevens 5-0 in the 2011 China Open and Stevens only scored 9 points. I know there was some discussion at the time whether this was a record, but I think it just missed by a couple of points, so I'm pretty sure it's never happened before in a major ranking event.

Williams on twice Robertson on twice yesterday, would be nice to see another game on or give one of the lesser players some tv time.

Think they did the same with Murphy in the last one , would much prefer to see different players on TV.
Still trying to pot as many balls as i can !
