And that was a mirror image of that other long frame; Ding didn't care if he won that, he was simply telling Selby "Drag me down and I'll take you with me".

Great, great first part of the final. Especially Selby played terrific for a big part of the day. Good for us - and especially Ding - that he leads only 10-7. So everything remains easily possible, though Selby is the favorite now.

Boy what a session of snooker this has been...absolutely fantastic...it had everything! :snooker:

And a midnight finish to, well...finish it off. Would have loved to see Ding pinch the last frame, but was not to be.

After 6-2 behind to Selby to then follow it with a 5-4 really was an excellent performance by Ding though.

Now only 3 frames behind...all to play for tomorrow.
