Throughout this semi-final so far Ding has looked more relaxed & at peace with himself than he has ever done at the Crucible. Of course it helps he has a such a big lead, but he looks really comfortable and at ease now with the one table setup.

It's a valid point, there is always a chance that Ding has blown his beans too early, but as the tournament reaches a climax, i'm sure Ding can rise to the occasion and thrust through to another level of ecstacy

This record was tied again by O'Sullivan and Barry Hawkins in the final of the 2013 World Snooker Championship
The overall record in a game of course is 11. In the aforementioned 1994 UK Championship final. While Hendry made 7, Ken Doherty who lost 5-10 made 4 himself.

Ding is playing to a very high standard especially his break building. He needs to take more care on safety play. If he gets to the final either Fu or Selby can do damage on break building front. I just hope that Ding hasn't peaked too soon.

However incredibly impressive this display from Ding is, I would dearly like to see a match instead of an exhibition.
So c'mon Alan get in there and make it difficult for Ding, keep things tight...get that cue ball on the balk cushion. We all know how good your angles are mate...

Can't believe neither KD or WT understand why it's easier to pot a red that's tight against a cushion, than one that's just off. The reason is, the player knows (or should know) that all he has to do is make sure the cushion and ball are struck simultaneously.
It's one of the first tips you learn for cushion shots!Last edited by Billy; 29 April 2016, 10:20 AM.

Goodness me.....this is INSANE snooker.....Can't remember someone dominating so much his subject, in all sectors of the game, not named O'Sullivan or Hendry. I think he can really get another win with a session to spare which, for a semi, would be incredible!

Some days ago in commentary Peter Ebdon said he watched Ding making eight centuries in a BO17 at Q school or something... this is madness

the most 100s in a match by both players is 8 and has been done 5 times and ALL in the WSC!
