Well if that were a tennis match each player would have taken about 6/50 break points. I'm not sure how either of them could be happy coming out of that session, Ding is 10-6 up but to draw a session with a player who was playing as bad as Judd was today can't be very satisfying. Judd may feel as if he has been let off the hook a bit and come out refreshed tomorrow. Not only that but the potential fatigue that people are talking about could also play against Ding. I still think there is plenty of snooker to be played in this match.

Ding has struggled for form over the last 18 months. He has missed a few events too. I know he has had cue problems and apparently he has had work done to his old Stamford cue and is now back using that again and suddenly his game seems to have come back.

I think we are now witnessing the problem for the qualifiers and how its very tough to maintain the concentration day after day and two sessions a day sometimes. Ding suffering from fatigue and that will only get tougher the longer he stays in the event. Trump mentally is all over the place and not cueing well. Mark Williams must be rubbing his hands because the way things stand he has one foot in the semi final already.

I think Trump needs to go away this summer and work with a top coach and sort out his alignment issues. I know he wears contact lenses as well, something about his sighting has been off because every shot he has missed has been thin. This isn't his usual level, its nothing to do with pressure because the balls he is missing aren't pressure pots.

yep. Ding is playing very good but not his best snooker... and you know from the first 3 frames that Trump will loose this match.

I fully expect Jud to win this last one, if only because Ding is clearly ready for bed

I can't believe how much Virgo and Ebdon are putting Ding down. Here he is, 10 - 5 up, and they're doing nothing but criticise. If Ding's playing so badly, how bad is Jud playing to be five frames behind??

Not the high quality I expected, but every frame is hard fought.
Ding makes mistakes, but Trump makes more.

My mate said the same thing to me: "I thought you said this was going to be fantastic??"
    "I did! It was!"
