It's actually the Northern Ireland Open.

Selby - Stefanow (5-3) was televised in Austria yesterday.

Yes of course, and Ding's match as well. I don't know what I was thinking...

Here we go again, 4-0 and 3-0 already.

Ding's match in particular has been ridiculous, it only took around 45 minutes to get to the interval. What's the record for the quickest ever best-of-9 match?

Don't know if that's still correct, but on Tony Dragos wikipedia page it states: In 1993 he recorded the fastest ever best-of-9-frames snooker victory by beating Sean Lanigan in just thirty-four minutes at the 2nd leg of the Strachan Challenge.
Tony Drago also seems like a pretty plausible answer to this question.

Ah, then Ding didn't have a chance after all. Still won 5-0 though, as did O'Sullivan.

If I´ve got it right Kyren Wilson was safe before the tournament started as it wasn´t possible for two players outside to 16 to pass him and Day hadn´t qualified.

Just took Martin O'Donnell and Noppon Saengkham as a double to beat Selby and Bingham tomorrow, potential £ 210 off a fiver, not bad.

Yes, he was and is safe. I just copied him together with the others, cause he is relatively close in terms of points to McGill.
McGill by the way is totally safe now as well. Not even Gould could surpass him by getting to the final, so only with a win at China one of the contenders could overtake McGill and obviously there can only be one winner at Beijing.

Nah,I haven't took a lug since about July 2012 cause it feels like I'm burning a hole in my throat.

Reminds me of some character in I think Rab C Nesbitt, scary.

So now the suspense is almost totally gone. With Martin Gould losing 3-5 to Tian Pengfei.
Mark Williams beats Michael Holt 5-2 in a duel of two contenders, but he needs to win the China Open to get fix spot at the Crucible. In a classic he plays John Higgins next.

Judd Trump continues his good run by beating Eden Sharav 5-0 and has now won 18 of his last 20 matches in ranking tournaments (qualifiers not inluded).

Michael White beats Ali Carter 5-3.
                                14. Kyren Wilson 249.925

                                16. Ryan Day 209.087

                                17. Martin Gould 194.975
                                18. Joe Perry 193.700
                                19. David Gilbert 188.650
                                20. Mark King 188.475
                                21. Ricky Walden 187.400
                                22. Michael Holt 175.500
