          • Record of the higher ranked player in QR2 under the new format. Quite a large variance from year to year. The higher ranked player has won about 85% of QR1 matches and 70% of QR2 matches. So far this year it's 6-2 for the higher ranked player, but Yan, Walden, and Gilbert are in tight matches going down to the wire.

            2017 - 23-9
            2016 - 25-7
            2015 - 18-14

              • Lovely clearance from Tian to take the match, the little cannons on the 10th and 15th reds were delicious, wish I'd been able to watch it all now.

                The slow and labourious,
All of us, glorious parts of the whole!

                • Tian through. Will play Wakelin. Great opportunity for both of them. Great clearance by Tian in the decider. I think his ranking should be higher. Major underachiever IMO.

                  • Yan Bingtao out in a final frame decider to Tian Pengfei, also good win for Matthew Stevens a 10-9 winner over Yuan Sijun. Matthew Stevens the twice finalist will now play Ken Doherty the 1997 World champion for a place at the crucible the head to head record is 9 wins each plus a draw could be a close contest between two veterans of the game. I do hope they show it on the live stream broadcast.
Ronnie O' Sullivan seven times the record breaking Snooker Master

                        • It seems, Michael Mann pulled out after first session of his match with Ryan Day, at least according to live scores. Some surprises already, Bingtao out and Martin Gould trailing 2-9.

I was being kinda rhetorical, lol: but I thought it reduced kicks but caused more miscues

Don't get me started on the death of the adverb

Yes to cueing low, but that chalk.....
