Fergal’s kind of players tend to reduce the opponents’ game to atoms: they are slow, they are good match players, they are nerve-wrecking tacticians, they are the exact opposite of younger, faster, more attacking players. Sometimes, it’s the old waistcoat who wins, sometimes it’s the younger one. It’s all in both players’ heads.
