Best frame of the tournament so far, it's incredible how he managed to get the last couple of reds with blacks. To be fair though, he was somewhat lucky to get the chance in the first place, because Selby could have easily scored those 60 points he needed without the kick. That black along the cushion was also lucky, shouldn't have gone in really...

Ding has to win frame 5, I can't see him coming back from 4 - 1 down, I'd love him to prove me wrong on the decider though.

and that is why Ding is unlikely to win any of the big major tournaments because mentally he hasn't got the strength to compete under pressure. He's a good front runner but a very poor player from behind. Selby isn't having to do much other than mop up Ding's mistakes, he must think its xmas every tournament the way everyone else is playing right now.Comment
