great match then between murphy and the thunder.
turned both ways and then at 2-4 , murphy made two great centuries. Loved the way he was annoyed at the final red at the end of frame 7.
He played a good game and was a bit unlucky, two strange safety shots leaving the white in the middle of the table. Don't see that often , first one was ok as it was tight up but second time if the white had a couple more roles to the left the blue would have covered the red over the pocket. I think Neil might have served for it but who knows.
Neil is the clear favourite for this now but Hawkins is on fire so if they both get through could be a cracking final. Having said that that Fu does seem to pop up every few years and win or play very well like in his run to the masters final.
It will be interesting to see the layout of the venue tomorrow as well once all the outside tables have gone, do they move the seats in or put more down as if not the players are quite far away. Be funny if they emptied all the other tables , left the centre one but put the players chairs right out in each corner. Give the av man time to play the walkon tunes for every shot.
