Hmm Murphy doesn't seem very comfortable around the table atm...it's like waiting for a mistake to happen. Hopefully he can clear up the table in one visit in this 4th frame. Would be great for his confidence.

Yeah Neil's got of to a very good start. Murphy not so. Hope he can get his focus quickly and the 2nd frame.

Edit : both players missing some odd pots here and there. Hoping Murphy can take advantage...he needs the frame.

Me personally I will always root for the players with the style of play and tenacity that is attracting for me to watch and also with the personality (respectful, down to earth) that I can respect. Murphy has both...Neil for me is just a bit short in the personality department

Good start for Robertson. A wasted chance for each, but Robertson not making a second mistake. This might set the tone for the entire match. :smile:

I don't want Murphy to win because I think he's been a bit lucky to get this far. If there is any justice it will be Robertson who has been the form player of the event for me. Also think Murphy hasn't got the game to compete with Selby in the final, they are too friendly and he hasn't got that killer determination and often tries to play Selby at his own game. Robertson being in the final is important so we have a good final.

Ok then Semi Final Saturday! As always hoping for 2 close and intense matches. I would love to see Murphy come out the winner in this match and go on to win the title. Bring it on!

I can't be the only person that thinks this years masters has been the most watchable for years, i'd rather watch a decent safety exchange than a century break any day, it's like turning the clock back 10 or 15 years when almost every shot was potentially missable. Recently first mistake and your opponent clears up, certainly nothing for newcomers to the game to get excited about watching!

No, you're not alone at all, the crowds seem to have enjoyed this week, and there's been plenty of possitive feedback here as well. O'Sullivan's absence has left us with a bit of a vacumme, and there seems to be a fair percentage of fans that only like to watch him, so rumblings of dissappointment are inevitable, and I suppose understandable. But all in all I think it's been a really entertaining Masters, comebacks and final frame deciders gallore, suits me sir!
