The last one I have is 996 but this is probably not the last JPU with red glue.
I have question marks next to some others after this number.
That's interesting !...and you date Ultimate 996 around 2007?

I'm thinking they went on to at least around 1050 and possibly as late as 1150 ish?...I've emailed Andrew to ask for his estimation.

I have had about 20-25 jp cues and just got confused with that and ambassador. My current playing cue is champion, thats where got confuddled and its hot, which doent help.
Badge to me looks too neat, too translucent, just a feeling. Got 6 jp at moment and to me, badge doesnt look 100%.
Im probably wrong, hope i am never like to see any fake cue, but the question was asked, i answered.

Ok Dean, I've heard from Andrew who also agrees with you that sometime in 2006 for the last of the red glue Ultimates. So I guess I need to check my calculator which is stuck on 2005

            • Have a look at my thread 'help with Parris ultimate numbering'

I think that the last of the red glue Ultimates was as late as 2007/8. I have Ultimate 1370 which is red glue and that dates back to 2007/8.

I would expect to see a tinge of red glue on the tip of the ovangkol front splice...

A better question would be... "who doesn't have red glue on their secondary splices..." lol

                              • John, I don't generally buy or deal in Parris cues for the following 2 reasons...

The first is that 95% of them on ebay, and about 50% on the forum are not right.
The second reason is there's very little profit in buying and selling genuine Parris cues nowadays, unless you have like 10 Ultimates nearly ready for collection of course
