I'm really pleased to own it. It's a beautiful cue. If it plays as well as the others it will be at least one of my top four cues, and I have around fifteen, including a parris. The one piece Butters cues I have feel solid, are good strikers, and look great. I personally think they are underrated. They're the best value cues I have bought. They need a bit of finishing, but they also come at a length, diameter, and balance that leaves a bit of scope to modify to suit most players. They really are fabulous things.

Update: It plays great. It might be 'the one'.

    • My current pool cue...just got it back from Andy Travis after having alterations done..it originally was just a plain round Ebony butt Jim Black Cue...it now has 4 splices of Olivewood with a Ebony front splice...The shaft has 16 arrows all inline with a great natural dark patina to it, one of the best shafts I have ever seen and plays like a dream.

      Specs now are 58", 8.94mm, 30mm, 18.3oz

                    • Like the look of a laminated cue , the chevrons look great .

For some reason , i am not so keen on red [ or blue ] veneers on cues.
Still trying to pot as many balls as i can !
