I've got a ball marker and have used it many times, it's very difficult to not move the ball a tiny fraction when cleaning a ball and in that situation it could make all the difference.

It staggers me they don’t even try to disguise what they’re doing. They come to the table, possibly snookered on a pottable ball, and immediately start to squint and scrutinise to see if there’s a path through, and then suddenly, out of the blue, ask for the white to be cleaned.

ding's another one of those enchanting people who play with a stick knocking balls around that think the world owes him a living , he cried off in a hissy fit after adam duffy beat him in the uk championship a few years ago , fans of the game and general viewers owe him nothing , and if you want to say well that was a long time ago that mindset is obviously still rife in the game so screw them , you owe them nothing.
