Only caught the last 3 frames of Peifan vs Wilson, Peifan really should have won 10 - 7 on 60 there in the 17th frame.
I'll be a bit surprised if he gets past round 2 v either Jones or Xintong, a proper horse would have closed it 10 - 7.

Yet again players who are competing are involved in the commentary like Shaun Murphy today. It must be confusing for the Chinese players because I'm sure none of them are invited to commentate. Pure favouritism and there should be a rule that prevents anyone who is still in the tournament from being involved in commentary. I don't know of any other sport where someone still competing in a tournament is providing commentary.Comment

Anyway, back to the WC. I was very impressed with Peifan, he really has a swagger and belief that few of the other Chinese players have. Wilson was simply outplayed, and his head had gone once Peifan got it level. The head shaking and smiles were arrogance, he really thinks he's head and shoulders above everyone, I thought there was more than a hint of disrespect.Comment
