I've just watched 10 minutes of football and he's still only on a break of 28!

You can tell its throwing Ronnie off, I hate players that do this....at the expense of entertainment they play like this cause they know its the only way they stand a chance against Ronnie, bad sportsmanship if you ask me. Then again it did win Mark Selby a World Championship.

Hard to believe its 2-2 now but I cant imagine
playing someone so slow. It would throw off
any rhythm you could try and maintain.
Allen is 2-1 vs Wenbo but I wouldnt count Wenbo
            out just yet.

Well that was fun. Would love to see these two against each other again in the crucible. :P

They are showing Allen vs Wenbo and it looks
like there will be a decider if Wenbo keeps his
                break going.

A decider and what a frame it will be.

I guess I'm in the minority, but I thought tonight's match was better than expected. Some good snooker played by both players.

Unfortunately the other three matches were completely dominated by the favourites, but they were still fairly enjoyable.

Lawler did play some decent snooker at times
and won 2 frames but he is so slow and hard
to watch for me. O'Sullivan won as expected but
he seemed to struggle due to the pace of the
                    match.
Wenbo just won a decider and he is long overdue
to win some matches in my opinion. Allen just
                    couldnt pull it off.

Day 2 has some exciting matches coming up
with Murphy, Ding, Fu, Williams, Higgins, Trump
                      and White playing.
                      More great snooker.

I hadn't seen Lawler playing for quite some time and I hope I don't have to watch him again. Sorry if there's any of his fans reading this, but he's extremely boring to watch!

I was hoping for a Lawler v Selby final. Shame really.
