  • Tomorrow has some good players looking
to advance. Ding and Carter finish their
matches and we have Allen, O'Sullivan
    and Williams playing. Good matches.

    • This is from the BBC website -

Every frame bar the last produced a half-century, with only three of the 19 not including a break over 50. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/snooker/32382896

      I'm confused.

      • Stuart was really struggling yeasterday. Now I hope he will improve in second round, as I have him to go as far as to semi's this year.
Second match was also good one - I can see where the nickname The Angles comes from, and I did not expect Carter to play this solid. He must be in Top 5 players with cueing power if I am not mistaken. Some of his shots are wonderful to watch.

          • C'Mon Mark!!

Love to see the end of Ding and a sensational opening frame from Mark with his 1st century break at the Crucible.

            5-3 up now.
If it is called " Common sense " why is it so rare???

              • Ding forgetting that he was on a maxi

One of the funniest things I've seen in snooker that.

                • Was Ding going for 147 the last frame? I'm only looking at the scores.

Yep. Potted 12 reds, 12 blacks, leaves it a bit short on red #13, has a brain freeze, and pots red but plays up for the blue .

realises, then misses very thin cut on the black . . !!!

                              Here you go

My favourite players: Walter Lindrum (AUS), Neil Robertson (AUS), Eddie Charlton (AUS), Robby Foldvari (AUS), Vinnie Calabrese (AUS), Jimmy White, Stephen Hendry, Alex Higgins, Ronnie O'Sullivan, Dominic Dale and Barry Hawkins.
                              I dream of a 147 (but would be happy with a 100)

That's brillant. Quite tragic that whoever proof reads the BBC website articles didn't spot that one!
