Who would have bet on that outcome eh? LOL

@trains; JT was hitting 50/60s on club tables when he was 8. He does exhibitions on club tables. Does that answer your question. lol

Him, Ronnie and Williams are still going strong. It's amazing really. Then you have players like Bingham, Mark Davis, Perry, Gould etc who have shone more the older they've got.

It is great that players getting into their zone are shining through with the amount of matches they now play and some of the "oldies" are still showing the upcoming players how it is
I love watching the newbies and love it when they do well
But we still see "cream comes to the top"
The old guard still have it in them
          Love it - love watching

Talk about betting, cuesports club so close to pulling off a double yesterday. Had the right frame scores predicted but it was for the wrong games. Betting is a mugs game!

Umm not at all mate,I've never seen any pro's play in a bog standard snooker club unless they had exclusive access to the club's best table, and trust me I've been playing for quite a long time.

He'd be doing those exhibitions on the club's best table,he and anyone else of a high profile wouldn't take the gig unless they had the assurance through that reconnaissance.

I'm praying for Higgins to come through this tough match and Ronnie to win later tonight. What a final that should shape up to be.

Very disappointed for Ding. He could and should have won this match 6-3.

Brilliant!! Now Mr O'sullivan, don't let us down tonight!! This could be the last ever time we see these two meet in a final. If Ronnie makes it that is. Ding was the better player today. That is snooker sometimes

first time Higgins has beaten Ding in a decider (if you believe the commentators  )

It's interesting, Higgins and O'Sullivan were the best players in the world for most of the last 10 years, but the 2006 Masters final was the last-ever major final between them. I certainly didn't think that would be the case 10 years ago.

This may not be the biggest event on the calendar, but it's a chance for them to finally meet in a notable final again. It would be great viewing, I'm sure.
