Interesting topic actually, personally I quite like to see different cue actions that work well. I got bored with golf because everyone had started to look like they came from the same "factory". I liked Arnie and Seve and even Jim Furyk for his grit and determination. They just had/have raw talent that I find engrossing to watch. Don't try and copy them or Ronnie just enjoy the difference.

I've noticed, more so that usual, that either the director, the cameramen, or maybe all three, have no idea when it comes to predicting what shot the player is about to take. So often the floor cameras will be lining up a pot to the middle pocket, when it's obvious to everyone and his dog, and probably Stevie Wonder too, that they're playing a thin clip into baulk. I wouldn't mind, but most of the time there isn't even a pot on.

Of all the players that could have got through, I'm going to find tomorrow's final a little disappointing. Fu, Ding, Wenbo, Williams, Robertson, would all have been preferable to O'Sullivan and Hawkins. O'Sullivan can irritate me (as he is currently) and I find his clinical genius around the table, dare I say it, a little dull and repetitive at times, and I have to say Hawkins does absolutely nothing for me.

Even Ronnie said Barry Hawkins has a lovely cue action. I don't really understand how people get annoyed by someone's cue action, the only cue action that annoys me is mine, when it's not doing what it's told
