are you sure, because that'll stir quite a bit of media discussion post match.
Dave Hendon has already written about it in his blog.

i don't think it's particularly good for maguire if he peaks his game at semi-final, because that'll only mean he'll play worse(may still be good, but just not as good), and he can't afford that against selby or ronnie

Wonder if they will shake at the end.

If they dont, no doubt Murphy will be pilloried as a bad looser.

Words can't describe how much I loved that session. Please win it 9-1 Maguire.

Pity, this looked like such a promising match. Maguire's hit the zone and Murphy looks shaken. Had this session been 6 frames instead of 8 I think Murphy could have had a chance, because I think he is able to recover, but now the lead is just too big. I can't see Maguire lose from here, whatever happens in the evening session.

Murphy missing just a bit too much... Strangely to see from a player who played very well just a day ago.

For some reason, he gets away with the same tactics many of us dislike Ebdon for. We all remember how Mark tried to slowplay Higgins out of the worldfinal...

At least Ebdon has paid his dues, he has won the big titles and earned the right to play any way he wants to.

Selby is a rookie who should show the veterans some respects until he has something to back up his antics with. (read a couple of titles)
Tactics of some players are very mutch alike , some think that Selby is the new Ebdon , Cope is the new O'Sulivan , Murphys game remind to Hendrys .
