Selby and Fu just put out the new "longest televised frame in a ranking event", beating Dott and Ebdon's from their Crucible final.

The time was, according to my own entirely non-official timing, 77 minutes 29 seconds when it was over.

Also rubbish - the reason he sometimes plays so well against the likes of Higgins and Ding and Cope today, is because of all the respect he has for them, and he is acknowledging how dangerous they are.

Apologies if it seems im 'having a go' at you Matoski but your confidently stated "facts" are just plain wrong im afraid.

The only tone suitable for a reply to this is a Wity or Atthebookies tone - so - What rubbish ! How long have you been following snooker ! ? Since the w/c last year i bet.

John Higgins may have equalled Ronnie in some ways, but in no way are any of them better, least of all the last 3 named.

Several people have already disagreed with this and i do too. Plenty of people like Ebdon, myself included. I also think he has a lot of charisma, in his own way of course.

Good frame on at the moment between Fu and Selby....

Selby always seems to end out battling it out into the small hours.

Well, another Ronnie match I am going to witness. hehehehe . At this form i would not want to miss it for one sec! But never know what happens on saturday.

Bet Lagermike will be pleased. We will be glued on first row!

Hoping for a Maguire - ROS final or Murphy will do as well. Mouthwatering! Classic!

True in some way indeed. For instance Steve Davis is playing like my granny these days but still has a lot of fans and admiration due to that 'something undefined' you call charisma. And then you have Dott e.g. a much better player but he will never get the attention and support his snooker play probably deserves.

I like him so your theory is wrong.
