    try the following:

How to add images to your TSF posts
You can use a free image-sharing site such as ImgBB, without registering (you can register for free), to upload your images, you may have to do the β€œnot a robot” checks quickly. There are other image sharing sites as well.
    ImgBB.com
    Click on "Start Uploading"
Browse to the file and select it, click Open
Auto delete image - leave as "Don't autodelete".
    Click "Upload".
Change "Embed Codes" to "BBCode full linked".
Hover over the code in the box, a "COPY" will appear, click this.
Go to your TSF post and paste.
You can repeat for multiple images in a single post.

    Up the TSF! :snooker:

Doesn't matter, Master cues have loads of great reviews and they are well deserved. Quality cues sensible prices. I've got a Tom classic which wasn't expensive by today's standards and I love it.

      • Asia Cues Ultimate ltd edition 3/4

A mate gave me this cue (that he won in a competition) for a length reduction from 58.5 inches to 57 and to fit a stainless steel ferrule. I looked on the Greenbaize website and coudn't find an Ultimate 3/4, all the Ultimates were one piece cues so limited edition means what exactly ?
BTW the maple shaft is not top quality, after the re-taper it soaked up ten coats of linseed oil, the butt is a generic hardwood that's been dyed deep black although the shaft splices are real ebony, apparently these machine made mass produced cues sell upwards of Β£400 and are advertised as hand spliced

About 12 weeks from Thailand to UK - very good customer care and clear communication.
You can find info on "Custom Cues" on Facebook and www.customcues.co.uk

For the "Pro shafts" you get to choose your own from their best prepared oversize shafts and of course you can see woods and choose any splicing design - practically anything you want, etc..

              • As a newbie here, I'm a bit mystified how to post pix - but I will if anyone is interested.

Owning one 20 quid beginner cue, one expensive "proper" cue, one cheap cue left at my parents to avoid transporting it every time I visit, and one "donated" cue (present from my Dad's best friend on reaching 90 and sadly conceding he won't be needing it again), I thought it was only fair to buy one proper old one-piece vintage cue.

So just before Xmas, I got a Riley Burwat late 1960s/early 1970s one-piecer, made of maple. In almost perfect, more than playable, condition. 70 quid, although seller wanted 110, but since it was collection-only, made an offer and was immediately accepted. Including the train fare, ending up paying not far off that.

Nice bit of history (shortly after the amalgamation of Accrington's EJ Riley (North) and London's Burroughs & Watts (SOUTH), from the period when Riley were pushing the streamliner table and a whole new groovy look for snooker. The name badge itself is quite cool, elegant and understated in a Sixties way.

Funniest thing about it is how light it is - had to weigh it to believe it, and it came in at 15 ounces.

As someone who struggles not to strike the ball with too much pace, even in among the balls, this is probably a good thing?

It even came with the orginal hard 'telescope' full-length carrying case. Although the seller could provide no history for the cue itself, which was a mild shame.

Thank you. Butt splices don’t get much nicer than that πŸ™‚. Once I’ve tried the cue I’ll post feedback.

                    • Well after trying and playing with this cue in the last couple of days, all I can say is β€œWow - what a Cue!!!” It plays so good for me - like a dream. Perfect shaft taper and well balanced it feels light although 19oz and with a stiff shaft as well as the flex and strength you need for a super reactive cue ball. This is an amazing cue!! I’m over the moon with the test results of this cue!!

To Custom Cues / Ruairi McCarroll : well done! πŸ‘

If anyone needs a new cue , from my experience you won’t be disappointed with a β€œCustom Cues” cue.

My upcoming Jason Owen cue, specced for English pool. Massive thanks to Jason, absolute pleasure to deal with.
I hope to post more photos once I've received the cue and knocked a few balls around! The shaft is one of the best I've ever seen on a cue (no hyperbole) and I'm so glad I'm getting it in a few weeks.
