Can't criticize too much, they tried their best to show the match with the one camera that was working, and that's basically all you need to televise snooker, but these things will happen. Hopefully we get full pictures for the second session when there are two great matches to look forward to.

It's funny, thinking back to the German Masters, we had that crazy quarter-final day when all four matches were superb, and we hardly saw any of the snooker. They couldn't even point the camera at another table after the main match finished on that occasion, even though many of us would have loved to see it.

It's hard to pot balls with a Chimpanzee tea party going on in your head

certainly wouldn't call him dumb as he is probably most consistent player this season and one of favourites for the works title. If everyone played the same shot choices it would be a boring game!

Trump seems to be unsettled and its showing
in the many shots he has missed which he would
normally make. he may well lose this match.
Ding seems to be playing well and has almost
              won his match.
Glad Murphy advanced and surprised White lost.

Trump my dear ... there u have it ... the difference between a world beater and an also ran .... having said that once Trump started using his head he was looking like a world beater but the thing is if he had used it before going 4-2 down, it would not have come to this ... lessons to learn .. not learnt in a decade .. I hope it changes soon enough. Higgins ... well done .. that was easily one of the very best 38 breaks and the final clearance ... there is something extra about a great champion ... Trump just does not have it ... as yet ... despite his immense immense talent

Trump just didnt have his game today.

It looks like the SF's could be Murphy vs Selby and
                          Ding vs Hawkins.

Be nice to see Ding and Murphy in the finals.

I don't think you can say that about Higgins.

yeah a bit of an exaggeration ... but if you see Higgins of the last year or two ... he has struggled to beat qualifiers ... He should be a cakewalk for WC contender ... n very much is if Trump played consistently the way he played in patches
