I really Hope you are right Odrl, Time will tell. It's not that I dont like Selby as a person, seen him interviewed a few times seems a nice lad, I just can't get on with his tactics on the table.

Superb opening session from Ding. He played a few bad shots that cost him from 5-0 up, but the start and the finish were great, particularly that frame when he knocked the long red in and made a century when McManus put him back in. Four centuries in the first session... If he wins this match, he will have won eleven more frames. The record for most centuries in a match by a single player is seven, Stephen Hendry in the 1994 UK final, and I think we could see this record broken on Saturday. In fact, I will call it right now, the record will fall.

Well, history doesn't really support this prediction. They have met in two matches over multiple sessions in the past and Ding has won both, the quarter-finals of the 2011 World Championship, as well as the 2012 Welsh Open final.

It would be good to get an all Asian final and would be a win win situation with regards to viewing figures. The China/Hong Kong viewing figures would be huge and the UK would be OK as well.
